Grommit and Dylan (above photo) are never happier than when they are returning from a visit with Wendi! Both dogs have improved 100% after working with Wendi for two years now. Grommit, my 7 yr. old terrier mix, battles with primary lung disorder and general asthma. Dylan, 5yr. old terrier mix, was phobic and nervous. They have both improved in these conditions immensely and are doing much better, thanks to Wendi and Nalo's Healing Arts.
Upon beginning each session, Wendi intuitively reads what each dog needs and then targets that particular condition with one, or several, of her treatment modalities. The dogs completely enjoy the different therapies; relaxing and soaking in the healing touch. In fact, I have even seen them smile! Afterwards, Wendi tests the particular blocked area that the dog was being treated for at the beginning and always it is cleared. If they are having a particularly difficult time clearing, then she works with them further, with a different modality, until the block is gone. As a caretaker of these animals, I am amazed by and grateful to Wendi Crandall-Amidon she is a special gift as a healer. She has made all the difference for Grommit and Dylan.

Our dog Buster who is 14 years old pug was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia a little over a year ago, His muscles in both of his hind legs have been deteriorating gradually as the month's went by causing him difficulty in walking and holding his body up. A friend of ours recommended that we see Dr. Wendy Asato (Makia Animal Clinic) who specializes in acupuncture on pets.
Buster has been receiving Acupuncture for the past 2 1/2 months. It was through Dr. Asato that we got to know Wendi Crandall of (Nalo's Healing Arts). Wendi's amazing passion and strong belief in combining Hydrotherapy, Massages that target all of the major muscles within our dogs system. And, her Special Gift of Healing Touch that is an energy based technique that she uses to balance and align Busters energy field.

Braddah joined us from Waianae after having been left in a truck lot for two days suffering from a broken pelvis and shock from being hit by a car. You see, the dog was "allowed" to protect the truck lot even though no one fed him except the occasional passerby; no shelter was provided for him and no one intended to ever provide for him if he were hurt.
After two days, one of the workers felt "concerned" and called a customer of the lot who occasionally fed the dog his leftover lunch. This man retrieved the dog and called every veterinary clinic between Hawaii Kai and Waianai until finally we said we would help.
Braddah has been with us for four months recovering and is starting to walk. However, he has severe hip dysplasia and will require major surgery to remove the head of one of his femurs to allow him to walk without pain. Currently, he is receiving massage, hydrotherapy and Reiki treatments from a volunteer. He is also receiving house anti-inflammatory relief to get him ready for surgery. Eventually, he will need a wheelchair.

Our 13-year old golden retriever, Murphy, had hip dyplasia and lymph cancer, and had been quite listless. During his first reiki treatment, we noticed that he began to perk up as the session progressed. By the end of it, his attitude had improved noticeably and his eyes had gone from looking dull to bright and alert. We continue to be amazed by the both the physical improvements and the increase in Murphy's overall energy levels since beginning the treatment. We cannot thank Wendi enough for what she is doing with Murphy.
